Ava - 11 days new

This sweet little girl "Ava" was the other winner to the newborn contest.  She came to the studio at 11 days old.  She wanted to be awake for her pictures but we were finally able to get some pictures of her resting. Isn't she just beautiful?!

So happy to introduce - My niece Raela!

My baby brother and his wife were expecting #4 and had tried multiple times to find out the baby's gender.  To no avail she kept them guessing until her birthday.  On June 13, 2013, my niece, Raela Mae, entered this world.  My brother's 3rd daughter and my late grandma's namesake, she couldn't be more perfect.  We're all in love!

Congratulations Greg, Missy, Big Sisters - Morgan & Raegan, & Big Brother - Mason!

Ashdyn ~ 7 days new

On Saturday, May 25th, I was lucky enough to get to snuggle the sweetest little guy!  It's been awhile since I've had a newborn boy in the studio!

While mom and I were ready to get to taking those sweet squishy face pictures Mr. A was NOT! ;-)  He wanted to visit and look around at all the new surroundings.  I'm certain he was afraid he'd miss something if he fell asleep.  LOL.  After being peed on twice and making sure I couldn't use one of the blankets for the rest of the session he was ready to get snuggly and sleep.  Once he slept he was game for anything!

He's perfect.  He has gorgeous little features.  Those lips.  Those tiny little toes.  Those sweet little baby hands.  All perfect!

Congratulations again, Mom & Dad!  Hope your enjoying your precious little bundle!!! <3 p="">

From Belly to baby....

I recently had a maternity session with my cousin and her husband.  Fast forward a few weeks and they welcomed Miss Layla into the world a few weeks early.  We did her session yesterday which was actually her EDD week.  What a perfect little sweetheart.

She slept so soundly throughout the session and let us move and snuggle her without protest.  Oh, I take that back she didn't want me to mess with posing her hands but other than that she was all good. :)

There's nothing more precious than a new little babe to snuggle.  Congratulations Raylin & Nathan she's perfect!

This was my actual first studio session!  <3 br="br">

Raylin & Nathan - Maternity

I was so excited to hear that my cousin and her husband were expecting again.  And even happier when they announced they were expecting a baby girl!  She will join a very loving family with big brother, Nathan & a very proud big sister, Bella! Can't wait to meet her!!

We decided to go to Lake Michigan in Michigan City for her maternity session.  I have never done a beach session before and let's just say I was NOT disappointed.  I have to say it's one of my favorite places to shoot. :-)  It was absolutely beautiful and so is mama to be!  The perfect session.

We were able to capture some really great shots yesterday but more importantly we captured some really great memories!!  Love you both!!!  Hope you enjoyed your day as much as we did.

Now on to a couple special shots I've saved for the blog....

Enjoy!

The sweetest little crocheted boots Miss L will be wearing!

Aww...

One of my favorites from the day!

I wanted to share what sweet guys we have!  We wanted to try a shot with the babies name written in the sand!!  It seemed like such an easy thing to do..lol...it proved harder than we thought.  The waves kept washing it away or the name was to big or to little.  The list goes on and on but these two kept trying to figure out a better way.  The things they do to make us happy! :)  Thanks Nathan & Troy for putting up with us yesterday!!!

Who ever said it was easy.....

So yesterday was Easter Sunday..I hope everyone had a wonderful day! My parents and my brother and his kids were coming over for dinner and an egg hunt that afternoon. So before everyone got to the house my husband and I decided to take the kids down to the river to this gorgeous piece of property so I could take their Easter pictures while they were all dressed up in their Sunday best! :) How fun to say the least! It was so hard to capture them all three because they were beyond excited since they had just gotten their baskets and were awaiting the ever famous Egg hunt! I got some really fun shots yesterday! Gabrielle and Jaxon did well but we have Miss Charlize who is always the cut up and can't sit still. She was being a character for sure and you'll see what I mean when you check out the pictures. I couldn't choose just one to share especially if I wanted to show you exactly how our shoot went.

Here is how the shoot started....

So she wanted no part of the basket...so much for trying to do her first by herself so she wouldn't get bored with pictures. lol...

Now onto some more from the shoot....

And then I wanted to get some pictures with the river in the background and a group shot with all three..this is how that went...look closely Charlize is in there..hehe!

And we lost one...hehe...

I have a ton of pictures from this shoot that were fun and adorable and I don't want to bore you with ALL of them so here a few more I have edited that I thought were silly, fun, and just plain adorable.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Thanks for looking at ALL my pictures. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed taking them!!

Wide awake

I had a newborn shoot this weekend with a lovely little girl and the sweetest little boy! Alexa was just precious and oh so curious! She wanted to look around and see what was going on. The shoot started out at the park but it was a little to chilly for the kiddos so we moved it indoors. Thanks for letting me take the pictures. I hope you enjoy them. I will be sending you a link shortly to view the rest of your pictures! :)

Now onto your sneak peek....

He is so well behaved and sweet! You should be proud mama! :)

Thanks again! I'll be in touch!
